2 Years Old

Happy 2nd Birthday, Emory!

I'm not sure how we got here so fast. The days are long and your Mama and Daddy are exhausted but the years just fly by. We wouldn't trade one second of your sweet little life for anything in this world. You're such a gift and we don't take you for granted.

Here's some things I want to remember about you on your 2nd birthday:

-You're a motor mouth. You always have something to say and you must have all the attention all the time. You don't play by yourself well, you want someone playing with you constantly.
-You're B-U-S-Y. You don't sit still. Ever. We've jokingly given you the nickname "Taz" :)
-You're so sweet. You love giving kisses and hugs to anyone that will take them.
-You're smart. If you hear it once, you know if forever. You mimic everything we do!
-You're poo pooing in the potty so well. You will tee tee too but you don't always recognize that urge. We're not pushing potty training, we're just letting you do your thing at your own pace.
-We got rid of your paci's a few weeks ago and you did much better than we expected. You kept biting holes in them and each time we found one that was "broken" we would throw it away. We finally got down to our last few and once they were gone, that was it. You'll still occasionally ask for it but we remind you that your paci's were broken so we had to throw them away.
-You love to "help" me do anything: fold laundry, clean, pick up toys, etc.
-You still put your "babies" face down on the floor and cover them up with "mankets" (blankets). It always cracks us up to walk in the living room and see 5-6 stuffed animals/babies laying face down on the ground, covered up.
-You love to watch "Elsa" and you sing "Let It Go" so loudly.
-In the car we have to listen to your "shongs" as you call them :)
-You pronounce a lot of stuff funny: "go pay" for go play, "no nuts" for donuts, "airpane" for airplane, you'll say "go round" for turn around, "go-raff" for giraffe, "shoap" for soap, and "gopish" for goldfish.

We love you big 2 year old girl and can't wait to celebrate you ALL day tomorrow!
