18 Months

Happy 18 Months to our sweet Emmy!
The months are cruising by but we're having so much fun!
Sunday lunch.. As long as we bring the cheerios this girl is a happy camper!
Mommy love <3

Water baby
Since she's obsessed with all water activities we decided to buy a water table to beat the heat this summer! Needless to say, it was a hit!
The "are you really taking another picture, Mom??" look. She's sassy and she knows it!

This man loves his baby girl and will do anything to make her laugh, including wearing her pink bath towel on his head! She's one lucky little lady!

At 18 Months:
- She talks all. the. time. She says a ton of words but here's a few just for the record (Mama, Daddy, dog, bye bye, hey, night night, nose, eyes, mouth, teeth, bow, eat, yo yo's (cheerios), milk, thank you, poo poo)
- She loves "school" and claps when we drive up. She can name two of her friends, Bay Bay (Bailey) and Jack.
- She can name quite a few animals and their sounds (horse, cow, sheep, dog, cat, monkey, bird)
- Eats mostly anything. She's really getting the hang of a spoon.
- Still loves her milk and water but she calls anything in a sippy cup milk.
- Following more simple commands: "take this the Mama/Daddy", "throw it in the garbage", "sit down", "put your shoes on", "go get in your chair"
- She will tell us when she's poo poo'd and hold her nose and say "stinky"
- Loves to sing her ABC's but it sounds like "B B B B B"
- She dances to any music
- She's obsessed with her lovie and swaddle blanket and has to have them in the car and when she goes to sleep
- She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the "Hot Dog" song
- Still a great sleeper. Usually in bed by 7:45 and sleeps until we wake her up for school at 6:45.

I can't believe this baby is half way to 2 years old.
We love her more with each passing day!!!

More Fourth Fun!

Emory had a little patriotic picnic and parade at her school last Thursday! John and I were both off work so we got to go and celebrate with our girl! They were suppose to picnic outside but it was just too hot so we took the party inside with the air conditioner!

She thought she was so big having her Mama and Daddy at her school; she wanted to point out all the animals on the mural before we left!
Such a fun afternoon with her! We look forward to many more school parties :)

Fourth of July

We spent the fourth in the Delta like we normally do! Can't go wrong with a bunch of family and food :)
