We had a big Easter celebration at John's parents house this afternoon! Too much food and lots of family time- perfection!

Happy Easter!!!

We started off our Easter celebration Saturday at my Mamaw and Papaw's house in Fitler. It's so peaceful at their house. It's surrounded by fields, cell phones rarely work, and there is no internet- I love it!

There's only two kiddos but they had fun hunting Easter eggs!

Game Night: Mardi Gras Style!

We had a fun Mardi Gras themed game night at the Brister's! Good food, good friends, and Phase 10!

I'm SO thankful our sweet Vicksburg friends still include us in the fun!

One Year Anniversary

We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary on December 18, 2011! I can't believe how fast one year flew by! We had A LOT happen in our first year of marriage: two family weddings, nursing school graduation, new job for John, a move to the Jackson area, new job for me, and our sweet niece's birth!

John surprised me with dinner at Bonefish (my fav) and had flowers waiting on our table when we arrived. He also had the waiter bring out the top of our wedding cake for dessert! Suprisingly it tasted just as good one year later!
